Angelo Konzett

Angelo Konzett was born in 1996 in Vorarlberg, Austria. In 2014, he began studying acting in Vienna, completing his degree with distinction in 2017.

On television, he has appeared in series such as Schnell Ermittelt, SOKO Donau, Letzter Wille, and SOKO Kitzbühel, as well as in the feature films Dinner für Acht, Womit haben wir das verdient, and its sequel Wie kommen wir da wieder raus.

In collaboration with Angelo Konzett as the leading actor, director Sam Madwar brought Butterflies Are Free to the stage in 2018 and EQUUS in 2019. For the latter, Konzett was awarded the Stadttheater Drachen Prize for “Best Debut.”

Numerous engagements under the direction of Nikolaus Habjan have taken him as an actor and puppeteer to venues such as the Semperoper, the Theater an der Wien, the Severance Hall in Cleveland, and the Mozart Week. Other stations in his career include the Vienna State Opera, the Volksoper Wien, the Kammertheater Karlsruhe, the Contra-Kreis-Theater Bonn, the Stadttheater Mödling, Dschungel Wien, and the Wachaufestspiele.

Since 2015, Angelo Konzett has been a member of the ensemble at the Schubert Theater in Vienna, and he is currently performing in Astoria, Shakespeare im Blut, and BLADE RUNNER. Since 2023, the series Woman of the Dead (Die Totenfrau) has been streaming on Netflix.
