Max Konrad
Max Konrad is an Austrian actor, voice artist, presenter, and puppeteer born in Vienna. He discovered his passion for acting in a school production of One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest at the Schultheater der Walz. He remained faithful to this passion throughout his architecture studies and while working as a presenter at classical music concerts, until he decided in 2014 to study acting at the Filmacademy in Vienna. During his training, he took on various roles in short films and the independent theatre scene. After earning his stage qualification at the Theater in der Josefstadt and graduating with distinction from drama school in 2017, he went on to further theatre engagements.
For his role as “Franz Huchel” in The Tobacconist at the Grenzlandtheater Aachen, he was awarded the Kurt Sieder Audience Prize in 2023. He currently appears as a puppeteer in The Barber of Seville at the Staatstheater Wiesbaden, as well as at the Vienna State Opera in Madama Butterfly, and soon in Fidelio, and at the Stadttheater Berndorf in The Nerd.
In addition to theatre, he has made several appearances in film, television, and commercials, including in Tatort.
